Domestic Savings - Cheap Voip Calls
You can make a number of useful savings by changing your phone system to a voip provider. With everyone scrambling to make savings and economies on the household bills, it's a welcome relief to find a service that lets you make cheaper calls and even free calls using an existing broadband connection.
Voip is becoming increasingly popular, which means more people with voip-equipped PCs can make free calls to each other. To offset this and attract more people to their offers, voip providers sometimes offer monthly or yearly package fees that let you call landline phones for free as well. If you find yourself making a lot of calls, or have several people in a household who use the phone on a regular basis, this can soon start to add up to a major saving. Other package options also include international call minutes as part of your subscription, however most overseas tariffs for voip providers are cheaper than regular phone companies.
Another useful feature about voip is the fact it is so portable. All that's required is to install a program onto your PC, enabling it to make phone calls via a speaker and microphone set up, or softphone as it is called. All you have to do to make calls is log into your voip account and connect via the software on your PC, making it as convenient as an email system. With a headset or dedicated voip phone, you can always be connected to your home or business number no matter where you are, provided you have a broadband connection.
Although it has really taken off for small and medium-sized businesses, low cost voip systems for homes are becoming increasingly well catered for with phone plans with a home user in mind, tailoring the plan to suit your budget and amount of use. In addition to the benefit of low cost, there are all sorts of added extras that come as standard on voip plans, such as caller ID, call forwarding and call blocking that ordinarily you would have to pay extra for with a regular phone company, or else buy an expensive handset with the features built in.
how much should I sell my xbox 360 for?
Good condition. 60GB hard drive, I would include 2 controllers, wireless headset, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (first one) and Fable II. Thinking about putting it on Craigslist and selling locally. Thoughts?
If you're planning to get the new Xbox, don't. It's not worth it, just compare how much you bought that stuff for and how much the new Xbox costs...
Anyways, back to the question...
-Call of Duty and Fable - $20 each
-Wireless Headset - $35
-Controllers - $30 each
-360 + 60GB - $150 to $200
Total: $285 total
Estimates considering how old the games are and an older Xbox 360...
